Kids Build It Challenge!
Join us in the Roche Brothers Community Room at the Millis Public Library 
for the MillisREADS STEM Kids Build It Challenge

Saturday, February 14th, 12:30pm - 2:30pm

In the spirit of this year's MillisREADS book about the 1919 Boston molasses flood, teams of 4 kids (Kindergarten-8th Grade) will have 30 Minutes to work together & build a tower from provided materials.

This event is registration only, please sign up at the library for a start time. You may sign up as a full team of four, a partial team, or as an individual and will be assigned a team based on age.

Friday, March 27th, 6-8 pm-- Friends preview and sale for current members only.  New applications accepted that evening. 

Saturday March 28th, 9am -1pm-- Friends Book Sale 

Sunday, March 29th, 1 to 4 pm

A great selection of adult, young adult and children’s books and DVDs at fantastic prices is available.

Community Room.  Please, no VHR tapes nor School Text Books.

Friends of the Millis Public Library Book Sale.   Adult, Young Adult and Children's Books, DVD's, CD's, Games and Puzzles too.  All gently used and nicely priced. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the MPL, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which supports the MPL by funding museum passes, and much, much more.  This event is open to the public.

Spotlight on Seniors Programs

Silver Screen Matinees will be held on Friday afternoons starting October 4th at 2:00 pm.  This program is free and will be held in the Roche Brothers Family Community Room.  No registration required. 



Drop-In Bridge: Wednesdays 1-4 pm. Please bring your own supplies. 

Sit and Knit:  This is a drop in program for knitters of all abilities.  Bring your own projects and supplies.

When We Meet
 
The Friends Meet the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Library in the Roche Brothers Community Room, unless otherwise noted.  Your attendance is greatly appreciated, but not a requirement of Membership.
 
Book Sales
 
Book Sale Fundraisers are held annually in November and May (June for Children and Young Adult only).  Year round we accept donations of hardcover, paperback fiction and non-fiction books, books on tape/CDs, DVDs, Games and Puzzles.  All items should be in good condition.  Please drop off your donations to the Friends Room during library business hours.  Please, no VHS tapes, text books or magazines.
